Ok. First off, what do Americans call it when someone's a runner at school or college? On the track team? Does that make sense? It's for a fic I'm writing, I forget which (there are so many and I suspect it's one I started in the past few days, which have been affected greatly by my insomnia). It's just a minor, passing, inconsequential detail, but when I don't know something I like to find out rather than detour round the ignorance.

I'm in a much better mood today for a few reasons. 1. Some pretty fic on the f-list to read at boring work. :D 2. Got sent home early because it was so dead I was laying on the floor doing nothing and nobody noticed! Someone asked if I was okay as they stepped over me, that's about it. 3. Me and [livejournal.com profile] johncoxon went to see 'Limitless' and it was fantastic! Spoiler for something awesome ) I really enjoyed it plus I now have a Ben and Jerry's/Popcorn/2 cans of coke in one hour high going on. Which is a problem, as I must bed in 40 mins or so because...

I'm going to Wales for a week tomorrow. I will still be writing, most likely on a notepad as my little sister devours season four of SPN, which I am taking home for her. But obviously posting will be less reliable as I will be sharing a laptop with my family and trying to spend time with them as after this it will be August before I can see them again. I've shoved everything on a memory key though and I'll have a couple of long train journeys on which to occupy myself...

Fic, notes, etc under cut for sake of brevity )

Written for [livejournal.com profile] inception_kink. The prompt was Eames/Fischer, unbeknownst to the team, Eames planted a kinky inception in that safe as well. Bonus if the kink involves bdsm, pick your favorite.

And since I completely fail at brevity, it's just over 6000 words.

I've seen it a couple of times now. I found an Inception Kink Meme that I am now working on a little fic for. I realised I'd want an icon to post it with so I made a handful.

Added it onto my Sarky Scale of 2010 Films.

Best line: "Motherfuckin' monocle-wearing motherfucker..."

That whole scene had me in stitches. And I love Bruce Willis. And I didn't know Michelle Trachtenberg was in it! Only a couple of scenes, but it was still a pleasant surprise.

I saw that film for the first time last night and it was so good. It was so thought-provoking and omg, the violence. I can't watch films without violence, maybe I'm a sick little puppy or something, but films without violence bore me. I really ought to see the Clockwork Orange, I've read the book. My only concern is that they won't look how I want them to look. I have a poster of MCR dressed in Clockwork Orange style and I would be very satisfied if Gerard Way played Alex, but I'm aware that he doesn't. *sigh*. And I'm still low on money but Chris made me food last night so I'm fed. And I splashed out on some coke, even though I just got an e-mail from a friend about poisonous rat urine on soda cans that can kill you...
